The International Journal of Scientific Methods in Intelligence Engineering Networks (IJSMIEN) is firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all necessary measures against any publication malpractice.
IJSMIEN has a zero tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before being sent for peer review. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected immediately without review.
A similarity index of less than 25% is generally considered acceptable. Manuscripts with similarity above this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision before the review process begins.
IJSMIEN uses industry-standard plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions. Authors are encouraged to check their manuscripts using tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate before submission.
Authors must not reuse significant portions of their own previously published work without proper attribution. Self-plagiarism is treated with the same seriousness as plagiarism of others' work.
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be retracted and a notice will be published in the journal.
