Prohibited Practices
| Plagiarism | Presenting another person's work as one's own. Immediate rejection and possible ban. |
| Data Fabrication | Making up research data or results. Article retracted if discovered post-publication. |
| Data Falsification | Manipulating data to mislead. Retraction and institutional notification. |
| Duplicate Submission | Submitting to multiple journals simultaneously without disclosure. |
| Ghost Authorship | Excluding significant contributors from authorship list. |
| Guest Authorship | Adding authors who did not contribute to the work. |
| Undisclosed Conflicts | Failure to declare financial or personal interests that could bias the work. |
Reporting Misconduct
Suspected malpractice can be reported to editor@ijsmien.com. All allegations will be treated with strict confidentiality and investigated thoroughly.
