Prohibited Practices

PlagiarismPresenting another person's work as one's own. Immediate rejection and possible ban.
Data FabricationMaking up research data or results. Article retracted if discovered post-publication.
Data FalsificationManipulating data to mislead. Retraction and institutional notification.
Duplicate SubmissionSubmitting to multiple journals simultaneously without disclosure.
Ghost AuthorshipExcluding significant contributors from authorship list.
Guest AuthorshipAdding authors who did not contribute to the work.
Undisclosed ConflictsFailure to declare financial or personal interests that could bias the work.

Reporting Misconduct

Suspected malpractice can be reported to editor@ijsmien.com. All allegations will be treated with strict confidentiality and investigated thoroughly.
